1949, when Harold Leventhal first met Pete Seeger and the Almanac Singers, he nurtured, managed and presented the icons of the folk music community. Pete Seeger, Arlo Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Peter, Paul and Mary and hundreds of others owe Harold Leventhal a debt of gratitude for being the one of the first to recognize their artistry and nurture their careers.
